Most people see what something is supposed to be. My brain usually wanders off and turns it into something else entirely. The detours of my brain has funded most of my career.
For the past 16 years, I’ve worked across the global agency world, mostly within the EMEA landscape, building creative and editorial teams, developing campaigns, and trying to make ideas that feel alive beyond the moment they launch. The labels changed every few years to include terms like innovative, digital, social, integrated, and experiential. Still, most of the work has always been about the same thing: understanding people well enough to create something they actually care about.
A lot of my work sits somewhere between product innovation, creative direction, systems thinking, and storytelling. Some projects turn into large campaigns across multiple channels, while others become beautiful standalone pieces of content.

	
Technology became part of my creative process long before the current AI wave turned everything into LinkedIn prophecy posts and existential panic. I’ve integrated AI into my workflow, using it to visualize concepts, structure complex processes, prototype faster, build systems, and occasionally untangle the creative equivalent of having 48 browser tabs open in my brain at the same time.

Over the years, I’ve lived and worked in Berlin, San Francisco, London, Hamburg, Lisbon, and Amsterdam. Because of this, I feel most comfortable operating somewhere between cultures, disciplines, and time zones. I'm fluent in Dutch and English, and brave enough to hold a conversation in German and French.

Ultimately, I care more about clarity, perspective, and meaningful creative work than scale for the sake of scale. I am driven by sharp thinking, cultural awareness, strong collaboration, and making things that earn attention instead of demanding it.
